The lovely Chateau de la Forge let me take over there stunning property to produce a winter wedding theme, I was keen to stay away from the classic Christmas vibes and try and stick to something more icy. So I pulled together my team of suppliers and we committed to this lovely shoot.
On this shoot I came up with the concept but then I left the styling to the amazing Jenny at Our Fabulous Things she did an amazing job and it really had a frozen feel to everything which was really fun and I am sure with as with all things Disney one day we will see Frozen inspired weddings! I loved the cake provided by @cakebaby24100 she took all the elements and tied them together into the cake and she also made the yummy macaroons.
I used the beautiful @anne_laure for the bride model and she did an amazing job and looked like an amazing ice princess for the day! I first went to see Debby @appelez_moi_madame_bergerac to find the perfect dress which for me had to be a princess dress, I have no idea why but icy winter vibes for me in a big dress! she teamed with with a lovely faux fur jacket. And then I reached out to @auroraboutiquebijoux who sent me the elegant and extravagant tiara with matching earrings and bracelet!
For me this shoot was all about the brides story and it had to include her Maid of honour and how she would help the bride through the day! from getting ready to getting her down the aisle!
I decided this shoot should be flowers free as not all weddings have the budget for loads of flowers and so I asked Jenny from @fairyfleur1 to make a bouquet with dried flowers, feathers and blue thistles, I personally loved it it really fitted the style I was looking for and was a great use of different items.
We then finished the day with some great fun and played with some smoke grenades, as it was heading into the golden hour it was a perfect time to capture some stunning shots and the blue smoke worked so well against the evening dress also provided by Debby.
As I said this shoot was all about how much a maid of honour plays a key role in any wedding day and I love this picture of just how important these people are in your special day and how they keep you calm and happy before your wedding ceremony and party with you in the evening!
